Oshiwambo is a Bantu language that belongs to a very large tribe in Northenmost Namibia, in a region called Ovamboland, but today many vambos are scattered all throughout Namibia. It's history is vast, with many dialects branching off, like oshikwanyama, -which is the dialect I speak, and choosing to translate, Oshikwambi, Oshingandjera, Oshindonga, and Oshimbalantu. but those are just the very few dialects of Oshiwambo, there are many, many more. Oshiwambo is a beautiful language that has a special place in my heart and I just thought to share it. enjoy!
