This is the second version of my oldest conlang, Sangabian!
READ BELOW TO ENSURE MOST ACCURATE TRANSLATION!
Sentence Structure: SVO; N/V ADJ/ADV # DEMADJ
When imputting numbers above 20, please don't type out the full word of the number as it will break how the sentence is structured. When you type the number, put a "#" after it to make the translator know that it goes after the noun.
Do not do: "two hundred twenty two cats" (this will give an inaccurate translation)
Instead do: "222# cats" (this will put the noun before the number)
If you want to know what the number in complete word form, type the number out without a noun in the text box!
CONTINUOUS TENSE IS OFTEN NOT DONE CORRECTLY IN THIS TRANSLATOR! There is no auxiliary verb when communicating continuous tense. Therefore, it is "He doing" (Do mateni ✅), not "He is doing" (Dosí mateni ❌). If it is past or future continuous (was doing, will be doing), you would add the past/future tense affix and put it between the verb and the continuous affix (-eni). For instance, "She will be doing" would be "Da matomeni" and "I was doing" would be "Va matoveni."
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES: When a sentence is interrogative, there is no sentence restructuring. What usually happens is that the interrogative word (who, what, where, etc.) goes to the end of the question/sentence. For instance, "Where is my stuff" becomes "Koi vam sí jak?" or directly translated as "Stuff mine is where?" (notice that there is no need to put "ya" at the end even though its a question since the interrogative is already there)
PAST PARTICIPLE CONJUGATION: When a word is not only in the past, but also describes the noun (like an adjective), it gets an adjective suffix (-[y]ad). For instance, "It is done" would be "Yesí matad" (not "Yesí matov").
INFINITIVE VERBS: There is no affixes for infinitives; however, if the infinitive is used as an adverb (i.e., "I went to the store to buy things"). You put "for" instead of "to" before the verb. (Example: "Va fúoyov vye sca jov") [lit meaning: "I went inside for play"]
WOULD, COULD, SHOULD:
"I should do it" --> "Va maskan ye."
"They could have talked to him" --> "Dev scko yamov kė do"
"She would be going home" --> "Da fúoskoyeni kė spo"
